Aera Platform is unavailable
Updates
Summary:
On 18th July 2025, our internal monitoring tool detected an application availability issue affecting a subset of customers within the UAT-East US and CDEV-East US environments. The Site Reliability (SRE) and Production Services Engineering (PSE) teams investigated and identified an issue with one of the infrastructure nodes, which was affecting service stability.
To resolve the issue, the SRE team isolated the affected node from the cluster and redistributed workloads to healthy nodes. This action successfully restored full functionality across all impacted applications.
Customer Impact:
A subset of users within the UAT-EAST US and CDEV- East US environments experienced service disruption during the outage.
Root Cause:
A storage issue with an infrastructure node impacted service stability within the UAT-EAST US and CDEV- East US environments.
Remediations:
The SRE team isolated the affected infrastructure node and redistributed workloads to restore service stability.
Future Mitigating Actions:
Infrastructure monitoring has been enhanced to accelerate detection of similar occurrences. Node stability improvements are currently planned to prevent similar events in future.
